This was a 3-way split with Lugsole, The Paper Chase and E-Class. Each band picked a word or phrase, when put together became the name of the split. Lugsole's word was "annihilation". The word was mispelled on the CD by the layout artist (anihilation instead of annihilation).

The artwork shown is the not the cover of the split, but rather part of the Lugsole artwork inside the CD booklet.

These were the last songs Lugsole recorded. They were recorded in late 1998. The songs "separation is complicated" and "is this freedom" were never played live.
